The French-Israeli-Czech project was initiated in 2008 by the composer, producer, and polyinstrumentalist of French descent, Arnaud Mathieu. The other core members are the vocalist and saxophone player Jonáš Zbořil, the Israeli drummer Yonatan Omer (a former member of Khoiba and Al-Yaman), the bass guitarist Tomáš Lhota plus frequent guests. In the band’s own words: “We are four friends, fools and good-natured losers. We play post-shag, a style of post-coital happiness and sadness of not having it more often…”
