The French multi-instrumentalist and producer Hugo Kant is bringing to United Islands an album that is not older than two weeks, The Point Of No Return. He started with music just after he finished his studies in mid-1990’s, then he was a music engineer in Marseille and an instrumentalist and arranger for several projects. Over time, he came into contact with genres related to electro jazz and finally released Searching London, his own EP, in 2011. His current music best fits the description of trip hop, yet the boundaries remain blurred, like in the case of similar performers, DJ Shadow and Jenova 7.
