Part of “Lusófona” block (Festival of Portuguese-speaking countries culture) at the United Islands will be the ball in African style with the Kalaka band. The band consists of Cape Verdean musicians arriving to the Czech audience from Lisbon. Kalaka is based on traditional Cape Verdean rhythms that are the inspiration for their own original work. Important ingredient of their music is a spontaneous improvisation that makes every of their concert original experience.

During the evening will be served African food and drinks and you can join the Cape Verde dancing crash course!
