This is the stage name of Lukáš Vydra, a singer-songwriter, whose path to the current, attractive low-fi dream-pop ran through hip-hop, over the discovery of folk music, co-founding the band Deaths, to a solo project.Albeit a graduate from a literature academy and an ardent reader, his debut EP Wonder Years rather radiates a relaxing, summery atmosphere.His future plans contain more complex topics as well, but varied and intense melody will certainly remain Mayen’s prime attributes in the times to come.
