The futurist punk-jazz cabaret of První hoře has been one of the most important groups of the Czech indie scene for many years. The band grew from the roots of Czech alternative and since the ground-breaking album Lamento has been winning opera singers and headbangers alike, together with numerous awards. The hallmark of the band is the spontaneous, energetic performances and strong lyrics, written by Milan Urza, the band’s singer and leader. The latest album, Imaginarium, was produced by Ecson Valdez and published last year.
