Ivo Pospíšil has been a member of the Czech music scene for ages. He fell for the magic of music in the end of 1960’s when he started discovering sounds and melodies previously unknown. In the years to come, chance and his life, considerably affected by the political situation at the time, brought him to music styles which made up in fame for what they lacked in official popularity. Although he was a bass guitarist for a time, his desire for discovering new styles was never satisfied. From punk, reggae and later also the early Czech dance music scene, he has arrived to treasures which he passes on in his sets as Tea Jay Ivo.
