The Angelcy, a band of six, was founded in Tel Aviv three years ago.Their music builds on sentimental as well as entertaining tunes and uses traditional folk music with instruments the lineup of which includes the clarinet and a whole range of percussions.Whatever the roots of the music are, the simple form conveys a story to the listener, which is rarely told with a mighty climax.  It rather delves under the skin.The band is currently releasing its debut record, The Call, which offers a richer, more modern sound than the previous material.
